Bill Liscomb set out to produce a Labor of Love documentary about the origins of the modern Sport of Hang Gliding, Big Blue Sky is hands down the best film you can share with anyone interested in the HG Sport. If you “have” seen it… May I suggest that you also take the time to watch , on the internet, a Lecture given by Bill Liscomb at the Smithsonian detailing his personal footnotes to the film…

Big "Ditto" on that!!

I purchased a copy from USHPA during one of their Board meetings and watched it at least 3 times in the hotel that night. I went back and bought 3 more copies for a total of 4 (one of which is still on circulation with the Hawks). I must have watched that movie about 40 times by now, and I still love it, ... and I still find new things that I hadn't seen before.

Bill did a masterful job on that project, and I think every pilot should buy a copy and watch it at least 10 times!!
