New USHPA members wanted

I love our Fourth of July celebration! I feel the importance to share that we are in the works to acquire five or more members, 70% that will be USPHA members, to officially form our club. Everyone is welcome and valuable.

Our mission statement, for now, is to create a group of new and experienced members.

Hopes for an instructor in the future. Input and interest in all shapes and forms to learn about hanggliding (and paragliding). Bob, I need some help here. And i don't have spell ckeck!

We are looking for elected positions to be filled. Bob K is the secretary now. We will not have a treasurer. Once these things are filled, we can be a chapter of USHPA. An official flying club!! And we will get magazines for our library! Thank you, thank you!

Hi Sara,

I'll be a member. I've been a member of lots of clubs ... some as far away as Tennessee!! I don't mind joining and supporting any club that's trying to grow the sport of hang gliding in their local area. I've had some really fun flights (and fun times) at Lakeview, and I'll be happy to be a member and to serve on the Board (or not) as needed.

If there's anyone else who feels the same, please add your own post to this topic. As Sara mentioned, USHPA requires new Chapters to have 70% of their members be current USHPA members, so it would be especially helpful to have current USHPA members join the list.
