This blog is about "uninhabited" airframed hang gliders (UAHGs) destined to affect the sport of inhabited hang gliding.

1. Anyone may post notes and images that are on topic. There are many other topic threads that are dealing with "inhabited" airframed hang gliders, of course, especial in US Hawks !
2. Gliders that are not airframed hang gliders are not to be part of this blog. When the dominant payload is hung beneath a parasol set of airframed wings, then we are close to topic; framed gliding-kite systems seem to dominate the target sector for this blog. Different are primary gliders, canopy gliders, rigid sailplanes, gliding canopies, paper airplanes that do not have the hanging-payload aspect, ...
Topic-coverage clarifications: 
Hang gliders that one might use during inhabited flight have sectors of existence when such devices are not in flight with pilot on board. During the time periods when those craft are not being flown by the pilot, such craft is uninhabited. Yet there are many concerns about the craft during the uninhabited time periods. Those concerns are game for this blog. E.g., when a hang glider is parked, stored, in repair shop, exited after landing, sitting on the hill, etc. Such craft are "uninhabited hang gliders" for the sake of this blog. What happens to UAHGs? Rain, sun, theft, dirt, pressures, mix with moving materials, and more. Discuss such matters and more.

Scaled flying UAHG range from super tiny hang gliders to super huge hang gliders. Such small and large UAHGs are game for this blog. Uses of scaled UAHGs vary from recreation, to testing toward onboard-piloted hang glider, to commercial-service payload-carrying hang gliders, etc. Civil, commercial, military, scientific, sport ... are realms where UAHGs occur and may occur more. All such tends to add to the arts involved in IAHG (inhabited airframed hang gliders) with pilot on board as PIC. Scaled flying UAHGs or full-sized IAHGs sans pilot but replaced with sandbags often provide matter for testing circumstances toward the aim of getting safe IAHGs going. Truck testbeds? Free-flight sandbagged versions. Radio-controlled (RC) scale or full-sized craft with aim of reaching balanced and safe IAHGs occur in the UAHG realm. Discussions on these matters are game for this blog.

Normally if "hang glider" is phrased in this blog, AHG is intended. Else "canopy" will be mixed; though mechanically gliding canopy gliders hold some "canopy hang glider" types, those non-airframed canopy gliders are outside this blog's intent; I refer readers to send such canopy matters to
World ParaGliding Association (WPGA) for sharing.

http://www.qldscienceteachers.com/junior-science/physics/experiments/forces where the hung paper clips have the hanging-of-the-payload aspect; solidly attaching clay blobs to the keel would put the matter outside this blog; but hanging mass from the wing brings the paper system with its hung payload into the UAHGs blog here. Playing with such UAHGs may lead to people looking at IAHGs more. Try different papers and different hung masses with various lengths of the hanging tether part at different stations along the keel. Observe results; think about IAHGs while doing such play or experimenting. Lead a class of students with the one-minute UAHG. The crease in the shown seems to give most of the "airframe" aspect of the scaled UAHG.
