Four Rogallo Children Flexible-Wing Test Pilots
The four children of flexible-wing inventors Gertrude Sudgen Rogallo and Francis Melvin Rogallo
have rightly been noted by Sharon Dillon in her essay Rogallo Had A Dream as having been an important part in the forwarding of the discoveries. Those four children survive their parents and continue to advance the Rogallo Foundation. For the four's test piloting and their follow-on play in the growth of the flex-wing hang glider world, they have been awarded standing in the World Hang Gliding Association's special Flex-Wing Hang Glider Gold Air Award.
:) Carol :) Fran :) Bunny :) Bobby ... congratulations to each of you. And thank you for test flying some of the generative first flexible-wings :!: You four have unique places in the roots of Rogallo-wing hang glider history. May your role be well understood and celebrated in the Rogallo Foundation and in the halls of memory and gratitude frequented by those who may now fly nearly as the birds fly.

We hope to have the privilege of your visits, photographs, and stories in US Hawks forum.

Famous-four test pilots adult names:

Apparently Gertrude's and Francis Melvin Rogallo's son went to the same university: Stanford University. Dad received an honorary "Dr." from some corners of the hang gliding and aeronautics community including from Self-Soar Association. FMR's son apparently received a doctorate from Stanford University.
