That's how Jack "promotes" hang gliding ... by forcing people to sign up on his site to see content. And then he bans anyone he doesn't like.

That's more evidence why we need an alternate forum. For future reference, if anyone (like Wodin) wants to share something with the entire hang gliding community, they should post it where everyone can see it. Maybe on US Hawks.

But most of all, thanks for the cross-post Oscar. Even though I couldn't see the attachment, I could at least read the other posts. Please feel free to cross-post anything interesting here. Similarly, please feel free to post references to the US Hawks forum on other forums (hanggliding.org, Oz Report, local clubs, etc). That's a big help!! Thanks!!

The problem is that he's got an actual copyright on the article. Also, printing it out and using it one-on-one is more of a personal use than publishing it on a web site. Just to be safe (and to respect the author's wishes), it would be good to ask explicitly about posting it on ushawks.org if possible. If you'd rather not post my request, could you send a PM for me? Banning people really divides the hang gliding community.

Banning people reduces the public discourse and the optimum growth of ideas to the lowest common denominator of the 'banner'.

Davis Straub basically dumbs down his website to the level of propaganda put out by the New York Times.
Anything that doesn't fit the statist globalist empire agenda is reduced to a dumbed down soundbite from the elite minded Bevis as "nuts". That's really funny as Davis doesn't seem to have any..

Jack Axo.. whatever his name, dumbs down his website out of greed and fear. He mostly wants to control the cash flow that can be generated from the google data mining, (as does Davis). This is essentially what is going on with the clumsy, over complicated 'pilot generation' scheme that he and Dennis Cavagnaro are involved in. Data mining is lucrative for those in the flow that will sell their souls for a buck. That's the greed part of Jack Ax.

The fear part is where he succumbs to the coward's way out of confrontation or challenge by lying outright and gutless censorship to cover his tracks. Both he and Davis are playing by the same old rules of disinformation and deceit like the New York Times, the reason the print media is dying.

Davis and Jack both deceive to maintain their slice of the pie and both 'promoters' of growth of hang gliding are dumbing down the process by their greed, deception and cowardice.

The internet is the Gutenberg press for the masses at the same time it was designed to be a noose around our necks for tracking and tracing our every thought.

Davis Straub and Jack Axaopoulos may simply be opportunists riding the wave for their own benefit but they should stop posturing as benevelent providers of information in the furtherance of the fredom of flight when the truth is that they are more invested in their own self interest.

The lying mainstream media is more and more being exposed for what it is and the 'mainstream' hang gliding media is following in their footsteps to those with eyes to see.

I think Jack Axaopoulos' actions are more motivated by the fear aspect when he arbitrarily bans someone.. he just wants to avoid confrontation. Then the cowardice kicks in and he lies and deceives to cover the tracks. He's young compared to Davis, he could grow a pair but spots on a leapord aren't easily altered..

Ok enough of a rant.. that's my two cents.. work to do..
