It was a nice day at Torrey today.

I took an afternoon break from work for about an hour of air time.      :thumbup:

I got to meet one of our Torrey Hawks members who was flying there, and we signed up two new Torrey Hawks members ... welcome Don and John!!!      :wave:

Unfortunately, my camera decided that today was the day that it's telescoping motor and/or mechanism would fail, so I've got no pictures.    :(

My old digital camera (from 2001) had no mechanical parts (other than the shutter button) and it lasted over 10 years. The one that failed today is maybe a year and a half old. So much for advancements in technology.    :roll:

Maybe. They were still a little pricey the last time I checked, but maybe they're coming down.

I also didn't like that there was no viewing screen (like a normal digital camera), but maybe that's changing also.

Either way, I'll be shopping soon!!!
