After half an hour of wasted time trying to get the correct size to display, I am giving up on posting here.

good point Rick.
Bob how should we go about adjusting the size of an attachment or picture?
I usually just go with what I get when I post.

Please give me a call at 858-204-7499 if you ever need immediate help on the forum.
I mean that most sincerely.
I generally recommend that pictures be less than 1200 pixels wide so they fit in the frame of most browsers and generally load faster.
I think there might also be a file size limit.
But if there's ever a problem, please give me a phone call (858-204-7499) and I'll do what I can to help. As the admin,
I can do lots of things without being asked or bumping into problems that regular members face.
That means that I may not be aware of annoying limitations. So if you're having a problem ... please let me know!!!

I hope this will work on the Preview as well, but I only tried it on the actual post.
I right clicked on the attachment and got a drop down.
I went down the short list and clicked on:
“View image info,”
This is what popped up:

It shows the size so maybe I can stay under 1200 pixels width with this information.
