Dockweiler Finally!

Postby Chris McKeon » Tue Mar 19, 2024 12:56 pm

Ok I am just about ready to commit My flying Down to San Diego so that I will be able to spend a couple of Days. This will be great! For I will be able to attend the Meet that Celebrates the Life of Otto Lilienthal Who was as We all know the Pioner of what We do, that would Be Free-Flight! So, after I decide which Day that I want to Fly, actually I want to Fly Every day. So, what I am looking for are these Three Things: The Date that I should call Back Lyndia at Southwest Airlines to Buy My Ticket. Two: I will be wanting Someone to Pick Me Up at the Airport. Also, three: I will need some place to Sleep. I am so looking Forward to Meeting all You Free Flight Feinds! Good By Chris McKeon 925-497-1059. Good By Chris.

Chris, San Diego does not hold Dockweiler. San Diego is approximately 130 miles from Dockweiler.
Differently LAX is less than 4 miles on road to Dockweiler.

Getting off an aircraft at LAX, one may take a free bus shuttle to a bus center "Aviation Station"; then for some small coins one then can take a local bus into El Segundo; then a walk to Dockweiler using Grand Ave. The flying site is just north of the Grand Ave. lifeguard station. Either flightschool can acommodate your flying needs Windsports in Los Angeles or Air California Adventure in San Diego. Both schools have a low death rate and thousands of pilots and interested tourists enjoy our sport at the highest level of safety. Bring $250 to ensure a safe return to flight.

You see I have been on an as of next Monday the 28th. I will have been on My Just, Correct, rightful path back to Where i truly belong. o the other Hand i am more nervous than a: "Virgin on the Verge". Will I be able to Fly like I used to before March 28th, 2010? I used to Fly fairly well. but both mechanically, and Mentally i wonder just how Well I will be able to Fly since My Pounding. Anyways I have a ride lined up so that I will be able to get down there. Another thing that I need to resolve. I had gotten a release filled out and signed. But this must be because I am Brain damaged. I have looked and searched all over this house for that release. But to no avail. I must do that again. Could someone reply to this Post. and give Type in the needed information that I will need to get another Release? Thank You Chris McKeon 925-497-1059. Good By Chris McKeon.

Chris,

Your wisest path would be to ask John for local shelter, local transportation, and local mentoring.

Do you have any documentation to support that?

I know that if John is down there when I come down for the Otto Lilienthal meet in May. That as has been normal when John I get together to go and fly. I feel confident I'm saying that I have a very good chance of My feet leaving the ground or possibly the sand depending on where I launch so that I can have the Greatest Flight that I have Ever made. That Flight will be the Greatest Flight that I will ever make. Even if I live for a 100 Years.

I don't think you can tolerate an "if" in that statement. I think you should confirm that John will be there and confirm that he will provide everything you need for the trip. That includes a place to stay, transportation, and flight mentoring.

Confirm that with John. Then buy your tickets with confidence knowing that you will be in good hands when you get here.

"I Survived"

Well: this whole experience that I have been through, so far anyways> For Yes, I did do the: "Super Pound in from Hell Fourteen Years ago. But just like that Old Saying: "Knocked Down, but not Defeated". I defiantly was knocked down Fourteen Years Ago. But I was not Defeated. I think I belong on one of those Shows Depicting People You had Major Events That Impacted them to where They were Close to Death. That would be Me. A show such as: "I Survived" > I mean I should be on an episode.

My Pilot Friends and I would always say to Each other Things like: "Get High and Go Far." Or I" hope that You have an enjoyable Landing." Or I hope that You "Stick Your Landing." Always the comments that We Bantered back and forth were Positive, encouraging Comments. We always Encouraged Each Other. I love the comradery that HG brought out.

So here I am A Predator Pilot Who survived doing a Super Pounding Fourteen Years ago. I am so looking forward to Flying that I do not what words that I will use to describe the Unbridled Raw Euphoria that II will feel upon My leaving the ground after Fourteen Years spent on the Ground.

One More Predator thought: Flying Hang Gliders, meeting and spending time up in the Air with My Friends. This has been an Experience that is simply the: {BEST} .

I hope to be able to share a thermal with Everyone Who monitors this Site someday. One last Wish of Mine: I hope that all of You have enjoyable Flights.
